Dr. Kathryn Vardy B.Sc., D.C.

Chiropractor & Acupuncture Provider
Co-Owner
(She/her)


Dr. Vardy began her education by completing an undergraduate program at Memorial University and Acadia in Biochemistry (Dietetics). She then went on to attend Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating with Magna Cum Lauda and Clinic Honours in 2014. After graduation, Dr. Vardy returned home to eastern Newfoundland and co-founded Kinetic Chiropractic and Health Clinic.

Dr. Vardy is passionate about keeping people moving and incorporates this concept into her clinical practice. She has a special interest in sports injuries, chronic pain management, and prenatal care. Dr. Vardy is co-chair of the Women’s Chiropractic Caucus and has presented on panels nationally, supporting both women in the field as well as their patients. In her spare time, she enjoys running, walking, synchronized figure skating, and spending time with her family, especially her two daughters.

Dr. Joshua Loveys B.Kin., D.C.

Dr. Joshua Loveys grew up in Corner Brook, NL before attending Acadia University where he completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. Growing up, he played many different sports, leading him to receive chiropractic care and begin his career path. Dr. Loveys graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2012 with Clinic Honours and in 2014 co-founded Kinetic Chiropractic and Health Clinic.

He has a special interest in managing sports injuries, as well as educating his patients on the importance of movement throughout all stages of life. Dr. Loveys has a passion for nature and the outdoors. He is an avid trail runner who has competed in multiple ultra marathons. In his spare time, he can be found on the trails with his dog, spending time (ideally outside) with his family, or playing different sports with his two daughters.

Sarah Wade, RMT.

Registered Massage Therapist (She/Her)


Sarah is a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the CMTNL and NLMTA. She graduated from Eastern Academy in 2019 with an Honours Diploma. Sarah has extensive training in various types of massage, including deep tissue, relaxation, manual lymph drainage, cupping therapy, and prenatal and myofascial release. Massage therapy is Sarah’s passion and she brings this positive energy to work every day.

She wants to help her clients become the best version of themselves and incorporates this into her treatments. At the clinic, you will often hear her cracking jokes and making people laugh. In Sarah’s free time, you will often catch her with a book in her hand, going for walks, or listening to a podcast. Originally hailing from Gambo, Newfoundland, one of her greatest pleasures is spending time back home with her nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Melissa Bastow, RMT.

Registered Massage Therapist (She/Her)


Melissa Bastow is a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with both the CMTNL and NLMTA. She completed the Massage Therapy program at Academy Canada, earning a diploma in Health and Human Sciences. Melissa has been trained in various types of massage including deep tissue, relaxation, manual lymph drainage, intra-oral, pre-natal, infant and child, cupping therapy, Gua Sha, Graston Technique, Dermoneuromodulation and Rapid Neurofascial Reset.

Melissa is passionate about living the best life possible and supporting others to do the same. In her practice, Melissa strives to provide a warm, welcoming, and compassionate environment allowing clients to feel comfortable and in control of their treatment at all times. You’ll always catch Melissa with a smile on her face and a coffee in her hand. When not at the clinic, Melissa loves spending time outdoors, cooking for family and friends, and learning new things.

Nic Pike

Office Administrator (They/Them)


Nic is our clinic’s dedicated administrator, who keeps everything running smoothly and on schedule. Nic is an animal lover, and has a cute but mischievous cat named Shadow. In Nic’s spare time, they are a strong and vocal supporter of the equality, freedoms and rights for the LGBTQAI+ community, and enjoys making all inclusive greeting cards to promote visibility for the community. They also love floating in their pool, playing video games and relaxing with their partner.
